MMI/MHI Access to Library Information

Remote Access to Online Resources

The majority of resources including PubMed, journals, and ebooks are available to students in the Master's in Medical Informatics (MMI) and Master's in Health Informatics (MHI) programs using the Northwestern University Library website.

When you find a resource you need to access, you will be prompted for your NetID if you are off campus. Once you log in, you should have access to that resource. You may also choose to use the NU VPN as another method of access to licensed library resources.

You may also choose to log into the Galter Library website, which requires you to create an account using your NetID. This gives you the same level of access as you would have using the Northwestern University Library website.

If you need books, print articles, or videos from any Northwestern library, including the Galter Library or the University Library, fill out this form. There will be an option to choose Distance Learning as your pick-up location in the account set up.

Getting Help
