Library Classes: Scopus

Scopus is one of the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature with smart tools that track, analyze, and visualize research.

Scopus includes:

  • Content from 7,000+ publishers, including 94+ million records, 99.6+ thousand affiliation profiles, and 19.6+ million authors
  • 330+ thousand books, 23.4+ million open access items
  • Coverage of 330 disciplines, including the social sciences, health sciences, physical sciences, and life sciences

In the class, we will:

  • Familiarize ourselves with Scopus' content and coverage
  • Learn how to put together an effective search strategy
  • Leverage Scopus' features to search for documents, authors, and organizations

There will also be time for questions from the class participants.
