Please join us in welcoming Molly Beestrum as the new Education and Curriculum Coordinator at Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center effective September 1st. Molly holds a MLIS in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and undergraduate degrees from the University of Washington. In her previous position, she was the Library Instruction Coordinator at Columbia College. She has been teaching in academic libraries since 2004, coordinating library instruction and developing library curricular content in support of academic programs. She has been an adjunct instructor in the School of Information Studies at Dominican University since 2005. Molly is actively involved in professional organizations and is currently serving as Vice-President/President Elect of the Illinois Library Association.

Throughout her career, Molly has worked extensively with academic stakeholders and constituents to provide consistent, user-centered services.
