Giving to the Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center

The Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center embodies the commitment of Northwestern Medicine to excellence in research, education, and care. It serves as a trusted partner for Northwestern Medicine. Since its founding in 1859, Galter Library has been an anchor for Northwestern’s medical community. Today, our faculty physicians, scientists, administrators, students, and alumni increasingly depend on Galter Library to advance their next-generation information and data needs. Galter is succeeding as never before.
The Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center is sustained through tuition as well as support from private philanthropic, government, and institutional grants. While every source of funding is important, private philanthropic support is especially vital to the success of research and community activities. For your convenience, a number of giving options are available. These include outright gifts, appreciated assets such as securities, and pledges payable over a three- to five-year period.
