Over the summer the Galter Health Sciences Library added new technologies to two of our group study rooms on the second floor. These rooms were updated to support a collaborative learning and study environment.

The following enhancements have been made to rooms 2-013 and 2-282:

• a 50 inch Panasonic flat screen plasma display has been mounted to the wall of each room. The remotes for the plasma displays are available for check out at the circulation desk.

a  "cable cubby" was installed in the table of each room. The cable cubby includes:

• 4 electrical outlets
• 3 network ports 
• video and audio cables so you can connect a laptop to the plasma display

In addition, a CopyCam Pro Image Capturing system with a new white board has been installed in room 2-282. The CopyCam system allows you to capture the images on the whiteboard for later use. Images can be saved to a USB drive or to a dedicated website.
