A USMLE and exam preparation tool available from the Stat!Ref gateway, BoardVitals Question Bank provides questions that can be reviewed for Shelf Exams in family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, OBGYN, pediatrics, surgery, as well as for USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3. Although access to other resources in the STAT!Ref platform requires no additional login, due to the nature of BoardVitals, a user must create an account with a northwestern.edu email address and sign-in for access and use of the question bank. When you create an account on the BoardVitals site, you will be sent a confirmation email. Click the link in the message and you should be good to go! Once logged in, it is possible to create customized practice tests, see explanations with each answer, and view statistics as well as suggested questions based on performance.
