Welcome Christina Gattone, Research Impact Librarian!

Christina GattoneWe are excited to welcome Christina Gattone as our new Research Impact Librarian! Christina is a member of Galter’s Research Assessment and Communications department supporting the assessment, visualization and reporting of impactful outcomes of research and clinical care efforts.

Christina received her MLS from Indiana University and her Master of Arts in Modern Literature from Queen Mary University of London. She brings with her years of experience in academic research, data services, and scholarly communications.

For the past seven years, Christina has worked as a data curator at Care Commons, a medical knowledge management start-up, where she built content and strengthened the language model for a medical database that is targeted towards both public and medical professionals. Prior to her role at Care Commons, Christina worked at the Tisch & Hirsh Health Sciences Library at Tufts University as a Publication Curation Assistant where she tracked faculty scholarly output and impact, and managed faculty profiles using Symplectic Elements.  

Through her past work in academic libraries, Christina has contributed to a variety of projects that have supported the research, teaching and clinical interests of faculty and students. She is excited to transition back into academic librarianship and apply her dynamic skillset and knowledge of the scholarly lifecycle to the research of the Feinberg community. We are thrilled to have her expertise and passion for lifelong learning to support the collaborative work of our Research Assessment and Communications department.
