This class will provide a basic overview of a selection of search engines and databases beyond PubMed. Participants will explore search techniques, customization, and the best times to branch out to other databases.
At the completion of this class, the participant will:
- Know how to formulate and execute a search in Google Scholar, PsycINFO, CINAHL, and Cochrane Library.
- Understand when these search engines and databases are best utilized.
- Gain familiarity with special search features and filters for each search engine or database.
