Meet our Clinical Librarians: | |
Corinne Miller, MLIS | Denise Nunes, MS RN, MSLIS |
Galter’s Clinical Librarian Service (formerly Clinical Informationist Service) has expanded its rounding services and now provides virtual rounding support to the departments of Medicine and Dermatology. This Fall the Clinical Librarian Service (CLS) also launched support via chat, text, and email available to Feinberg clinicians, faculty, fellows, residents and students working in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Formed in 2015, the CLS improves information access in clinical care decision-making settings by embedding Clinical Librarians in patient rounds and Morning Report. Galter’s Clinical Librarians conduct searches in real time to connect clinicians with trusted resources and support evidence-based clinical practice. The expansion of Galter's Clinical Librarian Services was conducted by CLS team members, Corinne Miller, MLIS, and Denise Nunes, MS RN, MSLIS, with invaluable support from Aashish Didwania, MD, Vice Chair for Education and professor of Medicine, Bruce Henschen, MD, MPH, associate professor of Medicine, and Cuong Nguyen, MD, assistant professor of Dermatology.
