Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center, in support of Feinberg School of Medicine, has upgraded Prism, its institutional repository, to the highly anticipated Version 12 of the InvenioRDM software, which includes a suite of new features designed to enhance collaboration, accessibility, and discoverability for users.
Key Features in Prism Version 12:

One of the most notable enhancements is the ability to share records with specific individuals or groups. This new feature offers users more control over who can view or collaborate on their work. Additionally, users can now share records in draft form, enabling private feedback and collaboration before formal publication.
Enhanced Community Spaces with HTML Landing Pages:
Communities in Prism now feature customizable HTML landing pages, offering greater flexibility in how research groups, labs, or departments present their work. This new capability allows for branded and dynamic landing pages tailored to the needs of each community, improving the user experience.
Boosted Discoverability via Google Indexing:

Parent DOIs for Version Control:
With the introduction of parent DOIs, researchers can now cite all versions of a record under a single DOI. This feature simplifies version management and citation, providing a consolidated view of all iterations of a research output, ensuring that users can easily track updates and revisions.
Additional Enhancements:
Version 12 also includes various performance and usability improvements, streamlining administrator workflows and enhancing the overall user experience. These changes further support the growing needs of researchers at Feinberg by ensuring Prism remains a leading-edge platform for managing and sharing research outputs.
